A crisp autumn morning, golden leaves, and a family ready to explore — the perfect combination for a family session at Pollok Country Park in Glasgow. This lovely family of four wrapped up warm and embraced the fresh air as we wandered through the park together.
Oliver was full of curiosity — fascinated by the conkers scattered across the ground, their spiky shells and shiny brown insides keeping him busy for ages! His baby sister, Aoife, watched closely from Mum’s arms, taking everything in with wide-eyed wonder.
After a little exploring, we set off in search of the famous Highland cows — always a highlight at Pollok! We spotted a huge bull in the field, much to everyone’s excitement, before continuing down the beautiful tree-lined avenue towards Pollok House.
We stopped by a large fallen tree, a perfect spot for some relaxed family photos. Among the rustling leaves and autumn colours, the family snuggled close for portraits before Oliver couldn’t resist launching into some leaf-throwing fun! Aoife looked on in amazement as leaves swirled around them, and soon Mum joined in too — laughter all round.
We finished our walk down by the river, beside the beautiful arched stone bridge. The light was soft, the trees glowing orange, and it was the perfect way to end such a lovely, relaxed morning together. A gorgeous family, two beautiful children, and a morning filled with simple joy — autumn sessions really are something special.
