HI, I'M LAURA.
I’m a mum, teacher, and family photographer based near Strathaven, South Lanarkshire — capturing relaxed, heartfelt newborn and family photography across the surrounding areas.
Like so many parents, I found myself behind the camera for years — photographing everyone else, but never stepping into the frame. My body had changed, my identity had shifted, and I felt unsure about being seen.
Over time, I realised something powerful: our children don’t see the imperfections we fixate on. They remember the laughter, the cuddles and the feeling of being together.
That’s why I photograph families in a way that feels relaxed, joyful, and full of connection. No awkward posing - just your family, exactly as you are, in the season you’re living right now.
